The 90th Anniversary L’Officiel Magazine Exhibit in Sao Paulo Brazil

Just wanted to share my pleasant surprise with you about my work being referenced in regards to the  90th anniversary of L’Officiel Paris Magazine in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I just found out about it by accident on the internet. Here is the LINK

Here is the original article in Portuguese and then translated in to English via Google Translate.

Portuguese to English translation

To celebrate four years of publication of L’Officiel Brazil, is showing at the Shopping Mall, here in Sao Paulo, the exhibition “L’Officiel: 90 Year History of Fashion” flocking covers the French edition since its launch in 1921 until the present day. The show – which is unprecedented worldwide – features more than 100 images of the issues of the journal, organized by decades, outlining a scenario of international fashion in this period.

Celebrities, the magazine covers are so great that already were the subject of a post of Rafah, in the F4F here, remember? So of course they’ve been through there yesterday, the opening cocktail of exposure, and checked this story so great. It’s a delight to worry about details, see? The illustrations, the credits (which for many years were placed on the actual cover), logo (which before the “advent” of the visual identity was not a logo but just the name of the magazine that could be written in different shapes and beautiful ), fashion, make and models. A “lesson” – not just fashion – very tasty.

In 1959 and 2010.

I was freaking out there in changing “the beauty” of the models in the pictures with Photoshop scratch (I confess that some things have given me a mild agony … lol), on the covers raw, focused only in the same fashion, without the thousands of calls that we used (by the way, have you noticed that a subscriber who has recently received issues with clean covers more than those who are going to bankroll?) and the standardization means boring that marketing and branding they bequeathed. Much to see and think, then go there!
