Who needs another compact camera? Everyone does! Well at least every couple years or so. That’s what the camera manufacturers would love to have us believe.
Well I just had to share this Tasty Tech Toy with my BKBlog readers. It is sexy, has incredible specifications and from all I have read produces outstanding images due to its larger than average compact camera sensor size. In fact its sensor is over 15% larger than Four Thirds format cameras, six times the size of the sensors in previous Canon G-series compacts and over two times the size of the sensor in Nikon’s 1 cameras. I think this Canon is really going to make waves and is perfect for those not wishing to carry their DSLR, but want better image captures than the classic compact cameras that are presently available.
For all intent and purpose, you could probably use this camera for a professional shoot and get away with it. Being that it uses a relatively large sensor and has 14 mega pixels, I would feel comfortable using it for double page magazine spreads.
