There are some people who have that knack of being ahead of the wave. Some of us have that gift of just knowing what is coming in the air and hit the nail on the proverbial head more often than most. One of those people are Frédérique Renaut our Fashion Director and another one of those quirks of nature is Catherine Lupis Thomas and her wonderfully trendy boutique in Montmartre, Paris called “1962”, which happens to be the year of her birth.

Now you are probably wondering why I am classifying this as street fashion. Well Catherine happened to be out and about when I spotted her walking up to her shop at 4, rue Tholozé and I asked if I could photographer her for our Paris Street Fashion Stuff series, which she graciously complied with an overwhelming “Sure Ben, Why Not…!”
Now the knack that I was referencing has to do with that HUGE HIT “Madmen”. Catherine has featured clothing for quite some time now and I must add, prior to “Madmen’s“ notoriety, that could easily meld in to the scenes without a hitch.
In fact, I would go as far as to say that they could use her flare to give “Madmen” a bit of that International Jacky Kennedy flavor and being that they are in to the 1962’ish styles I see a perfect fit.
