Save the Last Dance by Fashion Photographer Regen Chen

You may remember Regen Chen, Taiwanese Canadian Fashion Photographer, who won the First Benjamin Kanarek Blog Photo Contest and recently won the Fashion Category of the WestEast Magazine Benjamin Kanarek Blog Fashion-Beauty Photography Contest.

Regen Chen has produced a black and white fashion editorial titled “Save the Last Dance” with a certain feel inspired from the movie “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?” by Sidney Pollack.

The shoot was done in January this year in a dance studio, I was trying to achieve a retro look, so everything was shot in b&w at high iso. The shoot was about a man and a woman, they are in love, but feels like something is standing in their way, and I wanted to express that through this last dance…. Regen Chen
