\nDue to the fact that we are in Summer Holiday mode, we have decided to move the Benjamin Kanarek Blog & Fashion Indie Fashion & Beauty Photography contest deadline to November 1st, 2010.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to announce that www.fashionindie.com<\/strong> and www.benjaminkanarekblog.com<\/strong><\/a> are partnering for “The Benjamin Kanarek Blog-Fashion Indie Fashion & Beauty Photography Contest #2” The winner of both categories will be published in a separate post on both Fashion Indie<\/strong> and Benjamin Kanarek Blog<\/strong><\/a> and the 3 runner’s up will be featured on a special post as well and the\u00a0 final winners will win a package of gifts from our supporters.\u00a0 (To be announced shortly.)<\/p>\n

Fashion Indie Media is a fashion lifestyle network that connects to over 350 independent publishers and 5,000,000 readers monthly.<\/p>\n

FashionIndie.com is the most read fashion news aggregator on the web, beating Women’s Wear Daily (WWD.com) in readership and reach.<\/p>\n

TheyEnvy.Us is a fashion social portal and the online home of ENVY Magazine.<\/p>\n

This contest is quite different from our first offering.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two possibilities:<\/p>\n

– You may chose to do either a 6 image MINIMUM<\/strong>, vertical or horizontal (landscape) mixed Fashion Editorial,<\/p>\n

– or a 4 image MINIMUM<\/strong> vertical or horizontal (landscape) mixed Beauty Editorial.<\/p>\n

This contest is\u00a0 being done to replicate a real Fashion or Beauty Editorial in a Fashion magazine, so clothing styling is really important as is accessories for the Beauty Story. Do your research before submitting.<\/p>\n

We at BK Blog & Fashion Indie expect to see a very well defined theme or story for this exercise, as would any Art Director, Fashion & Beauty Editor or Picture Editor. We expect that you will find a fashion stylist to choose the most up to date fashion and accessories. We will be very demanding in terms of the quality of hair & make-up styling and if need be we suggest you also use a manicurist. If you are serious about this profession you will understand what is required to produce a polished final product.<\/p>\n

***Material for this contest must be original and has not been published in the past in any online or hard copy Fashion\/Beauty Magazines.<\/strong>***<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deadline of this contest is November 1st, 2010.<\/p>\n

There may also be a surprise prize, if I can pull it off that is \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
