{"id":21802,"date":"2011-11-24T21:53:54","date_gmt":"2011-11-24T20:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebkmag.com\/?p=21802"},"modified":"2011-11-24T21:53:54","modified_gmt":"2011-11-24T20:53:54","slug":"helena-christensen-benjamin-kanarek-archives-photographed-depeche-mode-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebkmag.com\/rebuild\/benjamin-kanarek-work\/helena-christensen-benjamin-kanarek-archives-photographed-depeche-mode-magazine\/","title":{"rendered":"Helena Christensen from Benjamin Kanarek\u2019s Archives for D\u00e9p\u00eache Mode Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">I was\u00a0going through some of <\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Benjamin Kanarek<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">&#8216;s archived\u00a0tear-sheets\u00a0when\u00a0I fell on these nuggets, he shot with D<\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">anish Super Model\u00a0and Miss Denmark 1986,<\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">\u00a0<strong><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Helena Christensen\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">for the iconic French Magazine <\/span><strong style=\"color: #808080;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">D\u00e9p\u00eache Mode<\/span>,\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\">back in 1988. <\/span><br \/>\n<strong style=\"color: #808080;\">D\u00e9p\u00eache Mode\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\">was a trend setting and forward fashion thinking reference for an entire generation and was featuring photographers like Paulo Roversi, Peter Lindbergh, Javier Vallhonrat and many\u00a0others.\u00a0Unfortunately, they closed shop in 2001. The music group <\/span><strong style=\"color: #808080;\">Depeche Mode<\/strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\"> got their name from the magazine D\u00e9p\u00eache Mode that they discovered\u00a0accidentally\u00a0and decided to use on a\u00a0whim.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Benjamin was using one of his out of focus-sharp signature for this Perfume and Evening Style fashion editorial.<\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/thebkmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Helena-Christensen-by-Benjamin-Kanarek-for-Depeche-Mode-1988-11.jpg\"><img
