The film gained serious world wide notoriety where Jean Dujardin won the Best Actor Award in Cannes in 2011 where the film premiered. Aside from the commercial success of the movie which is a tribute to the Black and White silent Hollywood films from the 20’s, we just had confirmation this evening that “silence is golden” where “the Artist” walked off with 3 Golden Globe Awards\u00a0from 6 Nominations:<\/p>\n
